The video is well worth watching, not just to learn about Ludi's diet and get inspired by his ultra-shredded physique but also for entertainment value as Ludi has some quirky eating habits.
How a Vegan Diet Helped This Duathlete Make Huge Improvements to Her Performance
In an article for Veganuary, vegan duathlete Lisa Gawthorne shares four ways how her vegan diet improves her performance. She's ranked 8th in the world and 6th in Europe for her age group in sprint duathlon.
Vegetarian since the age of 6, vegan for 18 years and caffeine-free for 14, she shows that athletes can thrive both without animal products as well as without stimulants.
Vegan Athlete of the Week: Steph Davis
Steph Davis is one of the world's leading climbers as well as a BASE jumper and a wingsuit flyer. Vegan for 18 years, a plant-based lifestyle fuels her adventures in Moab, Utah. She shares her recipes and thoughts on vegan athleticism on her blog.
As she beautifully explains her life philosophy on her website:
From climbing I understand the difference between essential and excess, and I have an abiding suspicion of luxury. Light is right, and the secret to wealth is living not within your means, but beneath them and liking it! Most of my essentials are luxuries in today's world and they can't be found in a store: quietness, cleanliness, open space, sunrises and sunsets and time to watch them, firewood. At the octabin, my second home, there's no water, no electricity, eight windows to watch sunrises from, and acres of dead pinyon pine I can walk around and chop up for the wood stove, which means I am rich :)
